Happy New Year!

In 2011 I accomplished many things and did a lot of good things, but this year, in 2012 I will strive to accomplish more and achieve more. I don't necessarily have resolutions but more of goals for myself this year.

1. Eat healthier - I plan on trying new things. Eating more greens and vegetables. Picking something up for dinner was always the "easiest" thing, but now we will have a home cooked meal every night. I have the choice of eating the healthy food or the junk food...I always have. I have decided that I am going to start making the right choice.
2. Cut the soda - I use to consume a lot of soda in one week, knowing that it was bad. Something clicked though, I will not drink soda unless it's a special occasion but I'm not even sure if I will have one then.
3. Exercise every night - I want to continue being active late in the day. They say it's bad for you to eat later in the day because that's when you tend to be less active, well not anymore. I will dance to dance central 1 or 2 every night.
4. Be nice - When I don't really like someone they usually know it. So I definitely need to work on that. And to my boyfriend, Wesley. I sometimes take him for granted by taking a lot of stuff out on him, and I know he doesn't deserve that.
5. Do one pinterest project every week - I have a slight addiction...okay, a huge addiction to pinterest. I spend a lot of time on that website just endlessly pinning things that inspires me with all things baking, crafting, organizing, photography, etc. So instead of those inspirations just sitting in my boards, I will do one a week.

I believe I can handle those five goals. In my opinion, those goals are realistic for me and they can be done. I have a lot of support with me too, which will make it a bit easier.
I have picked out a word for the past two years, and I will continue with this "tradition." My word for this year is determination. They way my family and I started out the new year, this word really fits me. I have a lot of determination, and I will not give up on anything. I am ready for this year, and whatever it has to bring me.

  1. good for you breanna! i didn't know you were blogging again! :) i only drink soda when we go out, and then only once in a while.. i stick to water too!

it's tough to be nice to people when they are crappy to you, but you'll find when you get older, that if you just don't give those crappy people any thought or effort they don't deserve, your life is much more peaceful! :)

  2. Yeah...I got inspired again! :]
Nice! Quitting soda feels good, unless it's a special occasion.

It's kind of like the quote "I can't fix stupid"...haha.

  3. That is one of my "resolutions" as well. I need to quit drinking and eating all the junk food that I do. I have only had, maybe, a half a cup of soda since the first. Other than that, its been only water.

Being nice-r to people is something I should be working on...but I kinda figure you get what you give. I try the nice thing first, if they treat me mean or dissrespectful, thats what they get back. But I can honestly say I put the effort in at first. I dont think I have ever seen you not be nice to someone. LOL...

Well...good luck, Im sure you will make it work!Oh yeah...I love your pages. They look awesome!!
