update on life.

I've had so much on my mind & haven't had the time to post.
working. cleaning. pinning. researching. making lists.

That's what my life consists of. I really love being out of school. Not having the stress of getting up early going to school, keeping up with everything. I get so much more done in a day than I did in high school.

My 18th birthday just passed last week, I had so much fun. I'm so blessed to have the wonderful people I have in my life. My parents & Paige made it such a special day, one that I will never forget.
We went to Chili's for birthday lunch and met Steph there, so glad I got to spend part of this day with her as well. Afterwards Mom, Paige, and I went to get a pedicure. Of course we had to make a starbucks trip, can't go a day without starbucks anymore. hah! We celebrated that night with cake and icecream. All in all it was a wonderful day, glad I got to share with the people I care most about.

I have finally found the motivation to start working out again. I can't even explain how happy I am about that! I have actually started running!! I use to hate running, I told myself I would never do it. & now it's a way for me to destress, I just run it all off. I find it relaxing, and a good time to just clear my head. I'm starting to make healthier eating choices as well. I recorded my first run today, I know it's not too spectacular but we all have to start somewhere, right? I will continue posting about my fitness motivation.

I have once again fallen behind with project life, but nothing to big this time. only four weeks! I really do love project life, I'm glad I have documented all of the memories that have happened thus far in 2013 that would have originally been forgotten.

I start college soon, it's really hard to believe that I'm already in college. It feels like I was just starting my freshman year yesterday, oh how petrified I was. And now that chapter of my life has closed, and on to the next one. I can't even begin to explain how excited I am to be going to college and making a career out of something I absolutely love to do.

Hope everyone is having a good great week.

coming to an end

as the end of the month is right around the corner, school is coming to and end. and quick. I'm kind of hesitant on what is to come for next year. the seniors are leaving this Friday, they do their senior walk. There will be people laughing and smiling, and crying. me on the other hand, I will be one of the many crying. It's a bittersweet moment. I will definitely miss this senior class, a lot of them are very close to me.
then comes next Friday...the day when my junior year ends. I'm going to be a senior, and to be honest, I'm quite scared. before I know it, my high school career will be behind me...that's something that I am not ready to face.
but on the bright side of all of this...my senior year will be exciting. I'm captain of colorguard. I'm joining interact with my best friend. I have all the senior activities and perks. I'm in choir. I'm going to feel more involved with the school. etc. etc. also, with it being my senior year...it's time to start thinking about college, and what I want to do with my life. actually, it's past time to start thinking about that, and I have no clue about anything. I'll figure it out along the way, I'm sure.

the month in review

*instagram challenge - march*
a month in review.
a glimpse of the past.

In this past month I had a couple "firsts." I attended my first prom. I went to my first choir competition. I've been pretty busy this last month, with all my "firsts", school activities, choir, hanging out with friends, school work, going to the theater. I like staying busy.

For those of you who didn't know, I joined choir this year. I'm really enjoying it, I love singing, and it's a really good way to express yourself. This past Thursday we went to mpas (competition), and we got superiors and excellent's across the board. Which means we are going to state! Can you believe that?! state! My first year in choir and we received superior ratings and we are getting ready for state! I'm grateful to be a part of the family choir, and I can't wait for the upcoming year.
